New 4" x 1" fnpt polypro filter head adapter free ship
For sale is a new plastic filter head adapter. It is 4" in diameter with a 1" female NPT fitting. This is for use with an industry standard size 4 (4"D X 14"L) or size 3 (4"D X 9"L) filter bag with a steel ring. Please see pictures. Note that these are smaller in size than the other filter head adapters that we sell and will not fit the size 1 or 2 bags, which are 7 inches in diameter). This listing is for one adapter only with no bag, fittings, or pipe included. These adapters are not compatible with bags that have a plastic ring or no ring at all. Can be threaded onto a 1" pipe & allowed to free hang over a container & allow gravity to feed product through the bag. Great for aquarium applications or recycling waste vegetable oil to make biodiesel! Probably should not be used with temperatures much over 150 degrees F as they are made of polypropylene plastic and might soften with excessive temperature (180 degrees F or more) for an extended period of time.
