Rotating cup mixer - no clean battery power
Lab mixer / stirrer for epoxy resin, chemicals, paints, glue, soldermask, and other viscous liquids. Mixes without incorporating air bubbles. When mixed, just throw away the plastic cup and tongue-depresser: no cleanup! 4oz cup is easily available from grocery stores, drug stores, Wal-Marts etc. Great alternative to expensive laboratory stirrers / shakers.
1. Put the materials to be mixed into a clean cup.
2. Drop the clean cup into the yellow rotating holder.
3. Clamp a tongue-depressor into the alligator clip.
4. Turn on the mixer with the speed knob and set the speed from 5 -60 rpm. The yellow cup rotates to mix thoroughly. The cup can be removed at any time to inspect the mixing progress.
5. When mixed, just throw away the cup.
Battery power makes this ideal for use in the field, and eliminates cumbersome cords on the lab bench-top. A 9V lithium battery provides at least 12 hours of continuous mixing time. The lithium batteries are available at Radio Shack and many hardware stores. Also runs using a 9V AC adapter. (specify choice when ordering) Rotation is slightly faster when using AC adapter. Please specify if a maximum speed of 85 rpm is desired.
