Made by a special process whichcontrols the inclusion of oxides andmetallic and non-metallic impurities,Kester Ultrapure is the industrystandard bar solder for use in high techelectronics applications where lowersurface tension and hole filling ability areessential. The purity of Kester Ultrapure far exceeds the requirements of QQ-S-571-F, ASTM B32, and ANSI/J-STD-006.
All Kester bar solders are made from Grade A virgin metals andmanufactured under a controlled processto produce a high purity, uniformlyalloyed bar solder. Quality requirementsare much stricter than military andASTM specifications to meet the needsof today's automated electronicssoldering operations. Impurities suchas copper, cadmium, zinc, aluminumand iron are at a minimum. Themanufacturing process also minimizesmetallic oxides and virtually eliminatessulfur, non-metallic inclusions, andother possible contaminants.
