* My understanding is that this switch works by means of a tab inserting into the switch which locks it in place with a solenoid. The tab mounts to the part being secured and the switch mounts to a stationary part of the machine, building, etc. Good for securing doors and other moving parts until ready for access.
* Recovered from a plant maintenance inventory. Unit is untested but expected to work fine. I don't see evidence that it was ever used. Minor cosmetic marks from sitting on a shelf for a while. This switch doesn't come with a tab (described above and shown in pictures found at the link above). I think tabs are available from Schmersal. See pictures for parts included (if you don't see it, it's not included).
