Volumetric flask, low-actinic red, 10 ml class a, kimax
A top-quality Kimble-Kimax low-actinic flask, with one stopper included. Either unused or in like-new condition. No chips or cracks.
The flask has a very small and short scrape line at the top of the joint (on one flask the formed a pair of tiny "flea bite"chips). These may simply be from the manufacture of these small ground glass joints and we attempted to show them in the second photo in between the black and green line. Also, note that the white enamel of the marking area is not as solidly colored as the photo suggests.
The body glass has the "bright" appearance of a new flask. The joints also resemble new low-actinic joints and do not have the dark ruby-red streaks typically seen on used low-actinic flasks.
Calibrated to contain (TC @20C).
The coloration on this microchemistry flask filters out UV light, as well as most light below 500 nm. This protective color is an integral part of the glass - all of the quality aspects expected from a kimax brand flask are retained.
-A solid PTFE (Teflon ) standard taper stopper, which is either unused or in like-new condition.
~82 mm (without stopper) x ~28 mm
$403-$410 for a case of 12. Sold individually, these would likely be around $50 each, accounting for the bulk discount removal.
