No one can visit every single site on the Internet, there are billions of web pages out there. And even if someone tried, new websites are being created faster than a human being can look at them. Websites are like shops, say, for example, Tesco. Nearly everyone in Britain shops at Tesco at some point in their life. But they don't all shop in the same Tesco store. Imagine if Tesco had only one shop, positioned centrally in Britain. The people in that area would use it, but people in places like London and Edinburgh would never even have heard of Tesco.
