3988 is a white self-adhesive satin vinyl that has a permanent, solvent based adhesive with a siliconized kraft liner. This calendared vinyl is WeatherPro certified and had "cast like" properties that allow for use as a vehical graphic; however, not recommended as a full scale vehicle wrap, but can be used on flat panels such as sides and doors.
For outdoor durable, waterfast signage and appliques. WeatherPro coating allows high ink limit, maximum gamut, and
good scratch resistance. Universal use with dye and pigment inks. Won't chip, crack or fade (min) 3 months outdoor
without lamination, and (min) 24 months if encapsulated. Solvent adhesive gives superior adhesion to Coroplast and
similar smooth plastic mounting surfaces which tend to give poor adhesion to water-based adhesives.
*To achieve 24 month durability, Sihl recommends Neschen UV cold laminates.
