Vent-O-Mat RGX Series Anti-Surge Sewage Air Release
The unique Vent-O-Mat Series 'RGX' valve incorporates three standard air valve functions and also comes standard with an integral Surge Alleviation Mechanism that protects the pipeline from surge and water hammer.
High volume air release - The Vent-O-Mat 'RGX' releases high volumes of air during pipeline filling.
Pressurised air release - The Vent-O-Mat 'RGX' releases pressurized air through the small orifice during pipeline operation.
High volume air intake - The Vent-O-Mat 'RGX' intakes high volumes of air when a negative pressure has formed in the pipeline during pipeline draining. The Vent-O-Mat 'RGX' outlet is equal to the size of the inlet, this ensures the least possible resistance to the intake of air and consequently the least possible negative pressure within a draining pipeline.
Automatic Surge Protection - All Vent-O-Mat 'RGX' valves come standard with a unique function that protects your pipeline from surge and water hammer. This function is independent of any mechanical devices ensuring reaction in a very low milli second.
