I've been experimenting with MANY headsets and mic elements over the last years. This is not a kit, works great, ready to plug and go with your Kenwood Radio (4 pin mic connector). Lightweight unit features a momentary PTT switch, battery box for two AAA batteries and wide range electret element for great sound with nice audio, I've been getting nothing but excellent 'ON AIR' audio reports with my 830. Good Sound at -53dB sensitivity - 4 feet of shielded cable - 12" high with flexible neck.
