OPW Foot Valves are installed on the bottom of suction tubes in fuel storage tanks to maintain prime in suction system fuel lines. Double-poppet models provide redundant protection for holding the prime, and are ideal for installations where the valve is not easily accessible. All OPW Foot Valves feature precision metal-to-metal seating arrangements. OPW Foot Valves are recommended for use on suction lines where the pressure does not exceed 34 feet of head (approximately 15 psi (1 bar).
The 3/4" models can be extracted through a 1-1/2" or larger pipe or tank bung.
The 1" models can be extracted through a 2" or larger pipe or tank bung.
The 1-1/2" models can be extracted through a 3" or larger pipe or tank bung.
The 2" models can be extracted through a 3-1/2" or larger pipe or tank bung.
