Radio Shack 20-309 PRO-60 200 Channel Portable Scanner. Serial # 033296. Freq range 30-512MHz, 760-824MHz, 849-869MHz, 894-999.9875MHz. This radio does not monitor trunked systems. NFM/WFM/AM mode switchable for each channel. BNC antenna jack for included flex antenna or optional extra base/mobile antenna. 1/8" earphone jack for optional extra earphone/headphones, or amplified speaker. Requires 6 "AA" NiCd or alkaline batteries (not included) or optional extra 9VDC @300mA 3.4/1.3mm coaxial power plug (RadioShack Adaptaplug "H") AC adapter or cigarette lighter adapter for power or charging. This radio covers FM commercial radio stations and VHF and some UHF analog TV audio channels (analog TV channels are very few and far between since the changeover to digital TV in early 2009). This radio monitors UHF Military and Coast Guard aircraft channels. It also covers the USAF Thunderbirds because they use a channel that will default to FM when stored in this radio and others but you can switch the mode to AM to understand the voices. This radio is a new item that had been sitting on the shelf of our family-owned store since June 1995. There are some very, very slight scratches from me using a feather duster on it over the years but you have to use a magnifying glass to see them if you can at all.
