Coulter Multisizer II Particle Counter.
When powered on, the text on the display is unreadable - see the photo. It appears to be not in focus. Usually, such a problem can be easily corrected by adjusting some display controls, but I did not see the controls on the outside of the counter. I assumed the controls are inside. When I removed the top of the counter, I indeed saw the controls (see the photo - WIDTH, HORIZ HOLD, VERT SIZE, VERT HOLD, VERT LIN, CONTRAST). I do not have any experience in this kind of work and do not want to mess with settings. I am reasonably sure that it is an easy task for a professional, but I do not want to risk damaging the system.
The internal parts of the counter look very nice and at the very least they can be used as parts for repairing another Multisizer II.
Otherwise, the counter powers up, responds to buttons by changing regimes of work (judged by changes in sounds and display appearances), and appears to be functional (except for the display).
