Leitz ergolux metallurgical microscope w/camera options
This professional High-End LEITZ ERGOLUX microscope comes complete with The following:
Trinocular Ergonomic (tilting) head with photoport, Nikon Coolpix 990 3.2 megapixel digital camera with proper 10x Leitz lens. If you have a Digital SLR camera I can substitute the Coolpix setup for the proper SLR adapter for your camera, so that you can use your camera with this microscope. Sony High Resolution CCD Video camera is also available if you prefer. I can also offer a 5 MP USB Digital camera so that you can see the image on your computer screen and capture it, if this is what you need.
Very Large Stage with 6"x6" Glass insert as seen in the picture.
Set of FOUR quality Leitz objectives (NPL 100x, NPL 50x DF, NPL 20x DF, NPL 10x DF) and 12.5x Periplan eyepieces.
This scope provides THREE illumination options: Transmited Light, Reflected Bright Field and Reflected Dark Field illuminations. The light is supplied by a 150 watt Fostec Fiber Optic source for bright and cool illumination in case of BF/DF Reflected light options.
It also has the proper sliders in the EPI illuminator for Polarized lighting
This microscope is in very nice condition. The close-up picture of the scope tells the story. The focusing has an issue: It seem to slip out of focus as you turn the dialsa bit fast. When the dials are turned slowly, then the focusing works just fine. The stage has a problem also: In one direction the knob does not move the stage (the other direction is fine). I am able to move the stage in this one direction manually very easily due to very smooth motion it has. I priced the scope accordingly for these two issues.
I included three sample pictures taken with this setup using three different illumination options: Inside structure of a broken Microchip with BF, the same Microchip with DF and a tissue sample with transmitted illumination. These picture were taken at at the lower resolutions to reduce the download time.
This very high-end microscope is ready to capture FULL frame super high resolution digital images.
