Yale Fork Truck / Forklift LP Gas 4,000 Lb
We purchased this Fork Truck in 2005 with the intention of putting it to work in our warehouse. I didn t know that our warehouse landlord already had an electric fork truck available to use anytime we needed it. Therefore this truck has only had a couple of hours on the meter since we had it completely gone over by our local Yale dealer, Dougherty Equipment in Harrisonburg, VA.
This is a 4,000 pound capacity truck with sold cushion tires, an 83 two-stage mast, hydraulic side-shift, and 10 degree back tilt. I bought the factory gold (I call it yellow) and white paint for this truck back in 2005 but never got around to having it painted. I can t guarantee the paint is still good after 5 years but, it s never been frozen or opened. I will include that in the sale. There is one gallon of the gold and one gallon of the white.
This truck, as the old saying goes, runs like a sewing machine. The engine is so quiet you can hardly hear it running when it s just idling. All the controls seem to work smoothly. The power steering is very easy to turn. The hour meter has a crack across it but it does work just fine. It had 1,424 hours on it when I had it serviced in 2005 and only has 1,427.4 on it right now.
