I bought this new in about 1995 and used it until 2006. It has been sitting in a closet since then. This item certainly saw use but not abuse. Used mostly for cutting wire cerclage and K-wires, some smaller pins. We used bolt cutters for most of the bigger stuff. Everything is tight - no play in joints - moves smoothly. No chunks out of the cutting edges. Some VERY slight scratching and slight discoloration on the flat surface of the jaws. I would call overall condition 9+ of 10.
Price in the 2007-2008 Synthes price list was $1,152.00. You can have this one for half of that or less.
