Calibrated radiation survival geiger counter cdv-700 vg
This selection is a must for radiation survival or for the Uranium prospector. The CDV-700 geiger Counter is an excellent choice for your home and survival shelter to help protect yourself and your family from a nuclear accident, from a terrorist dirty bomb attack or a terrorist nuclear bomb attack. The CDV-700 Geiger Counter is also an excellent choice for
prospecting and searching for many items around the house, junk yards, granite suppliers, etc.
The CD V-700 reads from 0.1 to 50 mr/hour. Originally manufactured during the 1960's for civil defense and preparedness, these instruments will measure exposure to fallout from fission atomic bombs, hydrogen bombs, dirty nuclear bombs and nuclear accidents.
The CD V-700 is marked with the Civil Defense CD logo. The units are unaffected by electromagnetic pulse (EMP) created by a nuclear detonation which knocks out most electrical systems. It is very rugged and appears to meet or exceed NEMA 4 Standards for dust, oil and water tightness. It is also an excellent tool for prospecting for Uranium, other radioactive ores, materials and radioactive sources around the house.
CALIBRATED: The CD V-700 has been accurately calibrated with a National Institute of Standards Technology, N.I.S.T. traceable Cs-137 (Cesium) sourced calibrator designed for calibrating the CD V-700's. To be accurately calibrated for measuring radiation it must be calibrated using an N.I.S.T. traceable Cs-137 source not just a CPM pulser which only calibrates the electronics counts per minute, not the exposed radiation level. After calibration a certification tag is attached inside of the box and units are provided with a certificate of calibration along with the testing document.
