E-switch 2 pole pushbutton diy led hack mod
PC Mount 2 Pole Pushbutton Switch ( Latching )
Solder Lug top side, pcb mount leads bottom side, Brass contacts
Comes with metal bracket for sturdy chassis mounting.
With some spacers you can adjust it's placement on the front panel
and just cut off the pcb leads and use the solder lugs for point to point.
Bracket can also be removed easily if not desired.
This Switch is perfect for a simple DIY mod to make it light up.
With some pliers pull the cap/ knob off the switch, then pull the clear lens from the face.
Simply drop any color LED in there with leads running down either side of the shaft
Literally within 3 minutes i had one set up to illuminate when pushed in and with power.
Awesome look, especially when mounted so once you push it in it's flush with the front panel and lights up.
With out performing this mod the cap actually changes color from white to black when pushed in.
