This magnet is not new. This magnet is government surplus.
Magnet is plated with something silvery. I painted the one in the picture so it would show up on white filter.
Magnet is 2 1/3" X approximately 1/4" thick.
This big magnet almost covers the complete bottom of the WIX filter.
