DRO48 4 axis digital read out (dro) for MC433G
The DRO48 is a 4 axis Digital Read Out attaches to and is driven by the MC433G. The DRO48 display absolute position on all four axis in real time and inconjunction with a CJ14 Joystick allows the MC433G to control all four axis indepentently of a PC. The CJ14 and GStep software running on the MC433G has a waypoint storage mode that allows the operator to move all four axis to defined positions and record the movements for later playback. All moves are stored in on chip EEPROM.
Real time joystick control of axis position and display becomes an indispensable and powerful machining tool. You'll find that manual wheel turning or position jogging on the console is rarely used with a real time display. Combining the CJ14 with a DRO48 and position storage allows canned machining cycles to quickly be setup and executed. The DRO48 is a must have peripheral for the MC433G.
