Trimble spectra physics 1145 dual slope grade laser mc
This is a Spectra Physics 1145 Machine Control Dual Slope LaserPlane Transmitter. Laser unit is in good shape with scuffs and scratches from normal use and storage. Absolutely no structural damage at all.
Unit powers on and laser transmits and rotates properly. This is a dual-slope laser used normally for Machine Control Systems but can be used for general construction and site preparation as well. It operates at 300 or 600 rpm (selectable by switch).
When powered on; if the unit is out of level there's a LED to indicate that. There's no bubble level on the unit; so I imagine that you would have this connected to a tribrach or similar device that has a level to adjust this unit. I just took a regular level to level the unit. Once it's level; the "out of level" indicator turns off and the laser activates. I verified that the laser is working properly with some laser detectors that I have - no issues at all.
There are two slope adjustment dials on the bottom side of the unit. You would adjust the angle of the slope using these two adjusments. There are also "wings" that you can use to cover the laser at the top of the unit so that it only projects at certain sides.
I believe this unit does have an internal battery; although I don't think it's holding a charge. It comes with a 12v power supply that I plugged in to test it. You can get other cables/connectors to hook this up to a 12v power source (such as an automotive battery) to supply 12 volts DC.
This unit is the same as Spectra Precision and Trimble. This unit was manufactured in October of 1998.
