For sale is a heavy duty titanium tube:
32 millimeter (1.28 inch) outer diameter, 2 mm (1/12 inch) wall thickness and 57.2 centimeter length, the weight is 500 grams.
The tube is pretty smooth and straight overall. There are a few minor scratches, which should not be a problem for most mechanical applications. This grade of titanium is soft and can be easily cut or machined, similar to soft iron. The GOST specification is VT1-0, which corresponds to ASTM Grade 2. Smaller diameter VT1-0 tubes from the same source were tested by X-ray fluorescence to contain 99.5% of titanium and 0.5% of aluminum, with no other components detected.
