* Particle monitoring critical production areas within a cleanroom facility is easily accomplished using Laser Particle Sensors, Model LPS-A. These airborne particle sensors offer two or four sizing channels with minimum sensitivities from 0.1 to 0.5 microns. Each particle sensor is able to sample airborne particulates within the facility at a flow rate of 1.0 CFM. An internal airflow system is available on most models for drawing the sample air into the inlet.
* Communications with LPS-A sensors are through the use of data loggers such as the LAN-Node and Mini-Node. These data loggers collect the pulse signals generated from the detected particles found in the air sampled by the sensor. The LAN-Node will support two LPS-A sensors and the Mini-Node will support one. A four channel LCD display with audible and visual indicators for warning and alarm conditions is only available on the Mini-Node data logger. Both the LAN-Node and Mini-Node interface to a local area network using RS-485 communications capabilities.
