Mitivac pump 71,301
This item is designed solely for the uses outlined below. DO NOT use on the human body in any fashion.
* The pump was not designed for direct pumping of liquids. Use reservoir accessory when liquid transfer is necessary.
* Volatile fluids, acids, etc., attack materials and affect operation. If a volatile fluid is inadvertently pulled into the pump, quickly pump clean water through the pump.
* The black trigger is the vacuum release. Moving it forward, backward or down releases the vacuum.
* The trigger should be in absolute center position before pumping to acheive results and prevent vacuum leaks.
The Mitivac can maintain and hold up to 25 inches of vacuum for indefinite periods of time. Attach one end of the 1/4" tubing to the nozzle of the Mitivac and the other end to the item to which vacuum is to be applied. Squeeze the handle a few times and a vacuum will be attained. To release vacuum without disengaging the tubing, pull the black tab underneath the nozzle. Model 71,301 (with the guage) will show exactly how many inches of vacuum is being applied.
Some of the many uses for the Mitivac are:
3. With a suction cup attachment, retrieving articles in hard-to-reach places.
4. Evacuating air from a mason jar or air chamber.
5. Packaging tools and other articles under vacuum to prevent rust and deterioration.
6. Checking leaks in vacuum lines or vacuum instrumentation.
7. Checking aquariums in conjunction with a filter reservoir.
8. Evacuating air for epoxy castings.
9. Checking vacuum operated components in automobiles and aircraft.
Tester/brake bleeding kit gives you a clean, quick way to bleed the fluid lines in your vehicles brake system. May also be used on virtually all hydraulic systems!
Trigger release for one-hand operation.
