JMC RT-2500 VHF MARINE RADIO TRANSCEIVER
A compact, sleek fixed marine transceiver that is waterproof to IPX7 specification, operating on the 156-163MHz frequency range. The RT-2500 DSC/ATIS series transceiver is a VHF marine radio with Digital Selective Calling (DSC) and Automatic Transmitter Identification System (ATIS).
The RT-2500 can operate (where licence permits) on all currently allocated marine channels plus special channels such as USA and Canadian marine channels. Special features included in the RT-2500 are large easy-to-read LCD display with Orange backlighting for night vision,25W/1W Hi/Lo switch, channel scan, PA/Mode switch for switching between Inland Waterway and Seagoing mode, emergency channel 16 / 9 key, triple watch facility, and distress call switch. Please note to operate DSC a MMSI number (issued by licensing authority) needs to be programmed along with your geographic location using a suitable optional GPS receiver or other navigational aid, also please note this unit is only available in black colour casing.
