You are purchasing a nice condition 1994 Drake SW-8 portable communcitions receiver. do not waste $500 elsewhere on the same set !

set works fine and cosmetically is in very good condition,,, with just a minor mark on the display and another spot or two
check the pics and ask questions if you have them.
this set is 1994 and has only DSB sync. this model is NOT worth $500, run from any seller who puts in 5 pages of BS on how his is worth $500 ! to pay $500 you should get one with a serial number starting with 6, 7, 8, 9 or 0. these models have the selectable sideband sync and that adds value.
please don't be that mislead person who pays $500 for an SW-8 with a serial number starting with 4 !!! be a SMART AND INFORMED SHOPPER !!!!!
