Breed to the French Standard, Black Copper Marans
These Birds are from the Wade Jeane line, president of the American Marans Club. Imported from France. The eggs are used by Many world renowned chefs.

These are fresh from my coop. 10 plus extras. Black Copper Marans hatching eggs. These are beautiful birds. imported from France, and just very rare in the states. They lay the very dark brown eggs. Great for the yard or coop. With great instinct that keep the whole flock safe from the dangers in the yard.
My Birds are young. They are very well cared for in a good size run. They are fed all grain feed, With no animal by-products, or antibiotics. They were chicks in the spring, but have been laying for awhile. I have checked fertility. It is very good. I have two roosters to five hens. That seams like alot of roosters, but I keep these to hatch, and want great fertility. As with all brown egg layers the color of the egg will very, and is not constant, but they are very dark eggs. You will be pleased.
