Because I don't actually know what this does (and I don't possess a laser), I did not test this beyond turning it on and tinkering with the dial (which responded beautifully). There is also a "tumbler" (?) labeled LFS 103 External filter. You probably will want to replace this, but I'll include this so you'll know what to re-order. There's also a "hoop" on the side that holds something important, I'm sure. It is just the right size for Nerf basketball if you can't figure out the true purpose.
Again, this item seemed to have received regular inspections before it was stored. It fires up smoothly and seems to be trouble free.
