1998 Walkbehind Trencher The Ditch Witch 1820 is a compact walk-along trencher designed for installation of underground service lines at residential and commercial sites requiring trenches up to 48 inches (1.2 m) deep and widths ranging from 3.25 inches (85 mm) to 16 inches (406 mm).
