Saddle Spring Assembly (all one piece)
This part is the most notorious for causing the #15 code cutter to malfunciton.
Often the operator is unaware that the spring is broken due to dropping the code cutter. The saddle must be removed from the body of the cuttter to be able to inspect the spring. If the spring is cracked in any way the cutter will not operate.
The spring is the black steel piece secured inside the saddle running the length of the assembly.
