* Pre 1950 manual furnished with the Logan No. 815-816-820-821 metal lathes. 16 page files of, set up, maintenance and use of this lathe. Descriptions and photos of lathe components (back gears, power feed, carriage, etc) Quick Change gear/longitudinal chart for thread cutting. Cutting tools, lathe tool bit shapes set up. Motor and switch wiring diagrams for 110, 220 and 440-3 three phase. Four page files on operating and maintenance of the Universal chuck (3 jaw) and independent chuck (4 jaw). 20 total page files of copies of original Logan lathe information, Great info if you have bought a used machine with out original set up information or getting started in metal turning and looking for some basic turning info for all metal lathes.

Sectional view of gearbox, parts numbers and description for some of these lathe models: 815, 816, 820, 821, 840, 840-2, 845, 850, 850-2. Gearbox assembly and automatic apron assembly models 815 through 957. Nice pre-1950 vintage reprint information if you are repairing, refurbishing or restoring these vintage metal lathes.
