This is an original copperplate engraving entitled "Messrs. Bacon & Donkins Printing Machine," published in London by Longman, Hurst, Rees, Orme and Brown in 1819. The engraving is 10-3/4 by 8-1/2 inches. It shows a view of this unusual variation on a cylinder press, with a schematic of the mechanism. The engraving is in very good condition.
