HP 8566A Lower Unit RF Section
This is the RF section from an HP 8566A Spectrum Analyzer. It covers DC 22 GHz when coupled with an HP 85662 Display (Upper Unit) and appropriate interconnect cables.
I acquired this item as part of a recent purchase but I do not have a working 85662A to test it with. Please note that the left Instrument check LED is on. I am told that this indicates that the unit has passed internal self tests but failed the test of the upper unit (understandably!).
Cosmetics are good with the exception of a sticker burn on the top center of the panel (this will come off easily). All knobs and buttons seem mechanically functional (no broken springs or sticking buttons), there is no significant mechanical damage to the case or face plate. In general this seems like a good instrument and may well be fully functional.
