Style 1678 is a 3.2 oz/sq fiberglass cloth that has a thread count of 40 x 40 ends/inch. 1678 uses the yarn ECG 150-1/0 in the warp and fill. In the designations of the yarn ECG E means Electrical, C means continuous, G is the glass filament size which is 9 microns. You add two zeros to the numbers 150 which signifies the yards per pound of the yarn which is 15,000. Style 1678 fiberglass has a breaking strength of 210 x 200 lb.f/in which another of our very balanced fiberglass fabrics. This 1678 3.2 oz fiberglass fabric is meant to be used with epoxy resins and has the finish CS-440.
