Chicken poultry killing restraining processing cones

These cones work great for standard broiler/roaster birds, and would probably be large enough for any other chicken or duck. I've never had anyone tell me they were too small for their birds, and I've had people use them for everything from small chickens to 14 pounders. At their widest part (top,) they are about 11" wide. Pictured in them in the third picture are a couple of my last batch of 8 week old Cornish X's, which had an average dressed weight of 6 pounds.
They are made with sheet metal (ductwork material) and assembled with pop rivets. I started making my own because the traffic cone I was using didn't work very well, and the ones I saw for sale at the hatcheries were ridiculously expensive. They can be attached to a tree, affixed to a stand as pictured, or anything else you can come up with. However you mount them, I've found them to be quite helpful for processing my birds. You won't find a better price for these, and they work much better than trying to make one out of a traffic cone or milk jug- trust me, I've tried a ton of different things, and this was the best option!
I realize that there are two cones pictured, but the pictures are of my personal setup- each order will receive ONE cone.
As of 6/14/09, the cones are put together with a spot welder, eliminating pop rivets. This makes for a smoother surface, which is easier to load your birds into. It also gives the cones a neater appearance.
Turkey cones coming soon! Please check my listings closer to the end of June.
