OptiView Wireless Network Analyzer gives you several ways to view your wireless network. You can start from the device, frequency or network vista and see what devices are active. OptiView Wireless Network Analyzer scans all the channels and displays all the devices it sees. Once an access point is selected, throughput, clients, protocol stats, device configuration and security settings are clearly displayed. In addition, a locate feature allows the user to find the access point using a homing feature. This mode is valuable for doing rogue access point detection, as well as getting a quick look at the network. Another major view of the network is through the spectrum mode. In this page, each wireless channel is analyzed for bandwidth utilization, number of devices, security settings, signal strength, error transmissions and transmit rate.
