This listing is for a long slide switch stamped ALPS and 514-861-22, which cross references to Sony part number 1-514-861-22, and substitute part number 1-514-861-99.
The limited data I could find suggests this was used in the Sony TC-42 but it's quite likely this ALPS OEM switch was used by other Japanese manufacturers such as Pioneer, Kenwood, Sansui, Marantz or others. It's the type of switch that was very common in the late '60s through the '70's for audio equipment. However, I can't find any cross-reference info for other applications.
