T.C. Jarrett Embedding / Curing Mold Oven & Cut-Off Sectioning Machine
Proper grinding and polishing of a sample metallurgical or geological requires that the cleaned specimen be correctly embedded in a compatible medium. We have selected the most satisfactory by actual test for use with the Jarrett System as described in a separate brochure on our polishing media and related supplies. The Jarrett Curing Oven is designed especially for use with the embedding compounds and hardeners used in metallurgical and geological polishing. Thermostatic control of temperature and forced air circulation provide even curing for all mounts regardless of position in the oven. The time is pre-selected and the heat shuts off automatically. The fan continues to cool the mounts in the molds until manually shut off. Other than the fan, there are no moving parts. Pilot lights indicate when oven power and the heater are on. All construction is steel with circuitry fully enclosed except for heavy duty heater cord from outlet to oven.
