Laborota 4000/4001 Efficient Evaporators, Heidolph*
Designed for standard distillations, crystallization, product concentration, powder drying, and separation of one or more solvents. Can also distill volatile substances and perform reflux distillations. Choice of model 4000 manual lift or model 4001 electric lift.
Long-lasting (up to five years), graphite-filled, PTFE-coated vacuum seal between drive and vapor tube provides leak-free, greaseless operation. Drive motor is quiet, brushless, sparkless, and maintenance-free. Rotary drive is electronically controlled.
Large bore 24/40 vapor tube has a 2.5cm (1") diameter for faster distillations. Vapor tube is also nonstick to remove easily and eliminate broken glass. Quick-release flask ejector expels any flask that may become stuck. Easily adjustable flask height and angle. Heating bath is constructed of an insulated double wall and features nonslip safety handles to prevent scalding. LED bath temperature display. Large dial controls for regulation of rotation speed and bath temperature.
Bath handles, insulated bath, quick-release vapor tube, unique manual lift, and plastic-coated glass protect users from scalding and broken glass, as well as reducing chemical spills. Adjustable sliding safety guard hood provides implosion protection. The optional extension plate allows the bath to slide horizontally to accommodate a 3L flask and foam trap.
The Rotacool* chiller cools the contents of the condenser to 0.5 C of the set temperature. Chiller features a unique space-saving L shaped design and a footprint of 47Wx58Hcm (18%num%1%/num%/%den%2%/den%x22%num%7%/num%/%den%8%/den%"). The Rotavac valve control pump has a suction capacity of 1.7m3/h for up to three evaporators simultaneously and can achieve an ultimate vacuum of 9mbar. The vac control automatic is used to control the vacuum source and features displays for actual vacuum, set vacuum, and operating mode. Features include a process timer that allows for unattended operation, vacuum sensor, and exhaust valve. The vacuum valve connects the evaporator to the pump and allows easy adjustment of vacuum pressure. The condensate cooler valve control is for use with Rotavac vacuum pumps (exhaust side) and includes bracket and 250mL collecting flask. The switchbox connects up to three rotary evaporators to one valve control pump.
