* I'm not totally sure what this device does. Received from a closed machine tool plant. It appears to be originally from the military because of the green finish.
* It is water cooled with inlet and outlet hoses, there is a cable with a footpedal inline and a pushbutton control at the end, and several panel controls on the main unit (plate meter, power output control, timer, etc).
* It has an apparatus connected to the side that I can't identify.
* The main power cable is marked 440V and connects to a westinghouse transformer on top (240/480V x 120/240V single phase), which in turn connects to the main unit.
* Any help identifying and describing this item would be appreciated.
