I set the temperature to the highest setting and it immediately started heating up. I let it sit for awhile and it got quite hot inside, and the display stated 230C. I tested the thermostat by turning down the temperature some and the heat light went out, so it appears to be working okay. Also, with the temperature set up and the sentinel set up, the sentinel light went on. As far as we can tell, this oven is in good working order. We cannot guarantee the accuracy of the built-in temperature gauge.
