The Solo-Turn rotating bed creates ease from pressure ulcers and pulmonary infections for the immobile patient and significantly decreases the risk of back injury for the caregiver.
Mattress segmented for use with cradle system. Solo-Turn is a programmable bed frame and segmented mattress with an independently oscillating frame, which provides patient care in a hospital or at home care setting. It is ideal for the compromised patient susceptible to pulmonary infections and bedsores due to strokes, accidents or other limited mobility health issues.
The oscillatory bed has hinged, adjustable side panels, which can be raised from a flattened position to create a cradle configuration, which can be quickly lowered for emergency treatment. The four safety rails are lockable and removable and come with slip-on net covers.
The mattress support is a pan type with ventilation so the patient can rest comfortable and secure throughout the night. The foam mattress comes with a water resistant cover. It is ergonomically designed for optimum weight distribution and prevention of skin breakdown. The weight limit of the Solo-Turn should not exceed 400 lbs.
