This is the best Shelving EVER!!! Its extremely strong MDF Shelves outlined with steel. It simply clips together for easy installation and even if you are remotely good with a screwdriver you can install it in minutes. We recommend you mount one upright to a wall with a couple of screws and just start adding shelves and uprights as your heart desires. Remember, the first unit takes two uprights to construct but every unit after that only takes one upright because the shelves build and clip into the uprights on both sides. You can always throw a 2' x 4' to the ceiling every now and again to make it real sturdy. But, honestly the best thing for these shelves to make them strong is just add weight. Each shelf can hold up to 580 lbs and each unit holds up to 2500 lbs. I will let you know that here at the warehouse we have much more then that on them. In todays skyrocketing climate of inflation here is an easy way to save money - build up... Remember square footage costs money but cubes up are free ;-)
