I have made very detailed step by step instructions and have provided all the parts you
need to change the yellow bulbs in the LCD panel into a cool blue looking & working machine..
WHATS INCLUDED IN THIS HAMKITT
1. (( 8)) Specialized LED's you only need (6) but we understand spares are nice to have
especially for beginners who can make mistakes..
2. (( 1 )) section of solder wick.. you probably will only need an Inch of it but more is better right ?
3. (( 4 )) Resistors ( You Only Need 3 again better to have more than less when doing mod's )
4. (( 1 Set )) of very detailed step by step picture directions which will be enclosed with the parts etc...
5. Section of solder again you will probably only need an inch but hey more is better...

Just thought I'd let you know that I had a good time installing the light kit for the TS-570, and the results were quite gratifying.
Thanks to all of you there for putting in the effort to come up with this kit. It's a winner in my book!
I attached a few pictures of the radio with its new lights.
I bought the mod for the TS-570 and love the difference it has made on this radio. The kit says an evening to complete, however, I had the radio back together in 1.25 hrs! Of course, I run a two way shop & have experience in working with electronics/radios. Even with modest tools & soldering iron, anyone could do this in 3 hours or less. The instructions are outstanding w/color pics to lead you through every step of the process successfully. Shades of Heathkit, but multitudes better. Great job, Joe & gang!
