COMPARE THESE FEATURES AGAINST ALL OTHERS:
1ST: This is a TWO-SPEED MACHINE. 1400 RPM & 2800 RPM. That means, no compromise for you - you adjust the speed to the material you are grinding.
2ND: Our machine features a very robust, 2 HP motor.
3RD: Take a good look at the guard system. Photo 2 shows both guards on, Photo 3 shows the left guard off. This is the way we use ours almost all the time. You and your workers are protected from accidentally touching your work piece to the side of the disc that is coming up and having it launched into your face. On rare occaisions we need to remove the right side guard and we can do so.
4TH: The gap between the work table and the disc is adjustable so that you can literally set the gap as the same thickness as a business card. This dramatically lowers the chances of getting some skin caught in there.
6TH: Comes with 10 discs - you tell us what grits you want. (Choose from 50, 60, 80, 120, & 150 Grit. Other grits available by special order.
