Swan 500 500C 500CX 8950 to 6LB6 conversion tube set
For 500, 500C, and 500CX using 8950 tubes. This conversion kit includes two 6LB6 final power amp tubes and a 6GK6 driver. The 6LB6 is a 6.3Volt filament version of the 8950. You will have to rewire the p.a. filaments in series (instructions included) rather than in parallel (12.6 volts) to use these tubes. After you rewire, insert the 6LB6's and reneutralize the p.a. and start talking!
Pair of Matched set of rugged 6LB6 (2) and a 6GK6 DRIVER tube. Test better than new on my tube tester and should work great in your ham rig. Put new life into a great radio like the Swan 500, 500C, 500CX with this new set and start working DX again!
