Low temp alloy cerrobend machinist wood's metal fusible

he/she has pasted my info into their account listing..word for word, not very novel, shows the laziness of the seller
this material is great for the listed applications... it is great for workholding...irregular pieces ...to vise..., bending, casting.. fine detail copy, etc
it IS NOT THE SAME AS CERROSAFE... cerrosafe shrinks a tiny bit on cooling..
.cerrobend..EXPANDS a tiny bit on cooling
16 liquid ounces.... is about 11 pounds 10 ounces weight cerrobend if you are wondering how much you need...fill the mold with water..and extrapolate from here..... one liquid ounce.... is about 11.5 ounces weight
or about 30 cubic inches to 12 pounds
........ it can be cut and shaped in just about anyway.... the best way to melt the material is in a double boiler... direct heat other than electric is not the hot ticket.... offgassing and separation of the components can occur if you apply a flame directly to the material....
can be used over and over and over, conforms to shapes very well... We used to use this material in a tissue compensating system that followed the contours of the area of the body.... a scale model reverse mold based on laser acquired data... worked very well....grid is one inch squares, ....density is .339 lbs/in2, coefficient of expansion 0.00022/c (degree)
