10+ Buff Orpington Fertile Hatching Eggs
Buff Orpingtons are friendly, dual purpose birds.
They are excellent layers with good meat quality.
Hens average 200 medium to large, light brown eggs a year and will lay year round.
Adults grow rather large and will average 7-10 pounds each.
Buffs are a heavy breed so they do not fly very well, if at all.
This makes them an excellent breed for the backyard flock.
They are easily tamed with great dispositions and make an ideal beginner bird.
They are very cold hardy for the colder climates.
Due to their soft plumage, they do need shelter from rain.
Buffs can get broody and make great mothers.
Our buffs are relatively free ranged.
They have a one acre fenced-in private yard for their very own use.
No other animals are allowed in their yard.
We collect our eggs several times daily and currently have about an 85-90% hatching rate.
Fresh Eggs will be unwashed to protect the shells and individually wrapped in bubble wrap to ensure safe arrival.
We have no control over the postal system but will include extras just in case!
Also, we are unable to control your incubator so can not guarantee hatching rates.
It is recommended to allow eggs to settle, small side down, for about 8-12 hours before placing them in your incubator.
Thanks for Looking and Happy Hatching!
