Allen-Bradley CompactBlock LDX Digital Output Expansion Block (1790-0B16X)
The CompactBlock LDX I/O system offers a compact, cost-effective, and diverse distributed I/O solution for automation solutions. Offering 24V DC , 120V AC , relay, analog, and temperature modules, CompactBlock LDX I/O supports a wide breadth of field devices and is compatible on both DeviceNet and PROFIBUS DP networks. CompactBlock LDX I/O is especially suitable where low cost and confined space are coupled with less-stringent IP20 environmental requirements.

* Node address switches and autobaud rate detection ease network commissioning.
* Cyclic and change-of-state DeviceNet capability improve throughput.

CompactBlock LDX I/O offers the leading, lowest-cost, device-level communication network, the DeviceNet network, to translate simple messages from the controller to the plant floor.

Digital Output Expansion Block
* Add I/O expansion blocks to a base block, providing up to 80 (or 64 for PROFIBUS DP) I/O points per assembly.
* Expansion blocks cannot be used alone; they must be connected to a base block.
* Compatible with all base blocks except for the thermocouple and RTD base blocks, which do not support expansion blocks.
* 7-cm ribbon cable connector included; optional 15-cm ribbon cable available.
