The grade is highly versatile, however, and can be used for fine to rough machining of steel, and fine to medium machining of hard steels, stainless steels, and alloyed and nodular cast iron. In addition, the grade s high edge strength and edge toughness make it highly suitable for machining thin chips. This makes it an ideal choice for slotting operations with TurboMill medium- and light-duty cutters, which can also be used for profiling, contouring, and ramping.'
