This level switch must be mounted vertically (or can be inclined up to 30-degrees) and can be supported from above or from below. This switch contains an hermetically sealed magnetic reed switch housed inside a polypropylene stem. A permanent magnet imbedded inside the polypropylene float controls opening and closing of the reed switch. Contacts can be changed to operate as "Normally Open" (Close On Rising Level/Open On Falling Level) to "Normally Closed" (Open On Rising Level/Close On Falling Level) by simply inverting the float on the stem.
